Gabe presented his Stole of Gratitude to Gail Miller, wife of the late Larry H. Miller. For the past 5 years he has received a scholarship through the Larry H. Miller Education Foundation. It was his way of saying thank you to the Miller family for making it possible for him to be where he is today in his education.

It was very sweet of him.

"The Stole of Gratitude is worn during the commencement ceremony. After the ceremony, the new graduate presents the Stole to someone who provided extraordinary help or support, i.e., parents, relatives, or mentors who have helped with wisdom, words of support, or with financial assistance. Immediately after graduation, the graduate may take the Stole from around his/her neck and place it around the neck of the recipient."
