All day long I had the itch to craft. I've been wanting some new decor to liven up my lil apartment, so I decided to head to Michael's and see what I could dream up.

And turned it into this........
Speaking of wanting new home decor, I've been aching for a new makeup desk for my room. I found this gem on KSL today and I think it has so much potential. It's a 1953 hand made writing desk. I literally can't stop thinking about it.
What do you think? Is it worth $50?

I would say yes, but I would start negotiating at $40 maybe. P.S. check out www.allthingsthrifty.com. She goes over a few different ways to refurbish furniture. I did Vega's dresser using her tutorial...good luck.
